Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) announced at the press conference today that all the current restrictions will be extended until, and including, the 28th of February 2021.
The reason is that the spread of the B117-mutation is so widespread, that despite the numbers being in a somewhat positive state, it's too risky to begin reopening the society right now.
It is possible, however, that the youngest schools kids in 0th-4th grade will be able to return to school before the 28th of February. The government is hoping to announce whether this will be the case or not before Monday next week.
The Prime Minister also said that the government is willing to look at whether small and medium-sized companies should be allowed to postpone the payment of VAT, as the payment date of the 1st of March is rapidly approaching, with many small companies not being able to pay.
